Kancil Science
The Kancil Science Competition is a prestigious annual event designed for primary, secondary, and pre-university students, with the primary objective of stimulating and challenging their scientific knowledge, critical thinking abilities, problem-solving skills, and overall scientific acumen. Since its inception in 2018, this highly regarded competition has attracted the participation of an impressive cohort, with over 56,000 students from approximately 3,000 schools having engaged in the intellectual rigors it presents. Furthermore, the competition serves as a remarkable platform through which exceptional students are identified and selected to represent their nation in the esteemed International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO), thus providing them with an extraordinary opportunity to showcase their scientific prowess on an international stage.
The purpose of Kancil Science is
- To allow students to apply their inquiry-based science skills and knowledge that they have learned in school.
- To increase students’ interest in science by relating science with their daily life and current environment.
- To generate the students’ creativity and critical thinking skills with some of our higher-order thinking skills questions.
IMPORTANT
Individual Participant:
– Please register as “Individual”
– Mode of competition: Offline (paper-based ONLY). The competition will be conducted in the schools/tuition centers under the supervision of the teacher-in-charge
Students of any level can participate
Rules & Regulations:
– Students are compulsory to answer the competition under the invigilation of KANCIL SCIENCE COMPETITION 2023.
– No refund will be made due to the student’s absence during the competition day.
– Students are not allowed to switch to another competition after payments have been made.
– If you are register under individual, you need to register as parents first. Then only you can add your child / individual details.
Price per student:
BND20 to participate in one competition
BND45 to participate in all competition
